Non-profit institution formed in 1977 by 25 architects to propose urban design solutions for the city of Caracas. With the profits of the urban design projects the IAU sponsored exhibitions, lectures and symposia on urban architecture. Among the invited international guest speakers: Kenneth Frampton, Anthony Vidler, Mario Gandelsonas, Diana Agrest, Aldo Rossi, Ignasi Sola-Morales, Manuel Sola-Morales.

Non-profit organization committed to the advancement of innovative positions in architecture, art and design. An active member of the board and the head of the programs and publications committee, and a member of the house committee, the board committee, and the benefit committee. In 2010, Mr. Brillembourg formed part of the search committee for the new director, where we selected Eva Franch Gilabert as director of the Storefront.
